Our take
If you need a rock-solid cushion, this ultra firm foam is it. The 52 ILD is very firm – almost like sitting on a board, which some might like for posture support. I used it for a sofa replacement and it barely compresses under weight. Quality is top-notch: made in USA, CertiPUR-US certified. However, it's quite heavy and difficult to cut; you'll need a sharp electric knife. Also, the 4-inch thickness might be too thick for some frames. But for durability, this foam is hard to beat.
