Our take
I needed a thinner cushion for a bench, and this 3-inch ultra firm foam works well. The 52 ILD is very firm – it provides excellent support and doesn't bottom out. The density feels solid, and the foam is well-made. Cutting to size was a bit of a workout because it's dense. The only drawback is that 3 inches might be too thin for some applications where you want more plushness. But for a firm, supportive seat, this is a great choice. Made in USA quality is evident.
